I think I’m around day 9 or something and I’m also on vacation and have been astounded to discover how difficult it has been to find a stinkin’ pole of some sort for my knee tucks. The dang street signs are either too large of a diameter or those awful U-shaped things that turned out to be too painful to hold onto. I used the bars of a shopping cart corral at Lowe’s a few days ago. Naturally, the only one that would work had a car parked next to it with someone sitting in the car. I’m sure they thought I was nuts. My husband thinks I’m nuts too as I head out from each hotel trying to find a pole. Carry on, ladies…and gentlemen, if any of the fellas have joined us.

    Ferrous, I missed your post.

    1. This challenge is meant to build strength. You wouldn’t be doing the exercises long enough to burn fat, it only takes a few minutes to complete the challenge everyday. You can start the challenge anytime you like.

    2. Rest day are just as important as working out, if you don’t rest you’re muscles will not recover well and you will hinder your results.

I suggest pairing this challenge with a cardio based workout if you’re looking for weight loss.

I agree. It is so hard to find a decent place to pole!

I have been to 2 play grounds in the week and both had no useable poles! All the pilings that hold the play ground together are like 6inches in diameter… and the rest of the playground is just not conducive to poling (how rude!) There are new fun rock walls and swirly things and even a zip line type monkey bar, but no pole!

    I blame the children. ๐Ÿ˜›

I haven’t done my abs exercises today. I’ll get back into it tomorrow, as I know life must go on, but we’ve had really sad news regarding my cousin’s little nine-month-old girl. She’s been so unwell lately, and is on a respirator now. If she doesn’t wake up tonight they’re considering turning it off. It’s so sad. :’-(

Sorry to bring it down, but I know how supportive you all are. If you could please send positive thoughts, prayers, vibes, whatever it is that you do, for baby Scarlett and her mum and dad and the rest of the kids, I’d so appreciate it.

Thanks, everyone. I’m so sad for her, but I’m trying to keep doing joyful things, and to channel that joy towards little Scarlett and her family.

Veena – I’m looking for a replacement for the camel. Saw my pt this am for some lower back/rib pain, he said my hypermobility could be making it hard to gauge how far i should be stretching. I never stretch to discomfort or pain! However he did comment on my more defined abs;) he also mentioned me not being properly engaged in these excersises could be causing discomfort. Here’s to the constant posture battle! รขล“ล’
