For awhile I was doing only one of Veena’s 20 min workouts a day like 4 times a week. I recently got Cleo’s workout, and I feel like even though its hard as hell for me and longer I got better results from Veena’s workout. I feel like my posture was better and I got more results from Veena’s workouts. I don’t understand if I’m just not doing Cleo’s workout correctly or what. Maybe it’s because she doesn’t explain the moves like Veena does? I thought I’d get a good workout from it but so far I feel like I should just go back to the 20 min routines instead of the hour dvd.

I love Cleo’s Dvd and it works great for me, but I agree it is not for everyone. it is definitely not great for any beginners out there just starting to do flexibility training. I say do what feels right for you and your body.

Veena’s lessons are created from the perspective of a personal trainer. She uses her knowledge of body mechanics to get the best result possible in a compact workout. Veena also focuses on informing you about the proper form and potential downfalls as your workout will always be more effective when done properly.

Veena’s workouts are progressive as well. They are designed to take you from zero to amazing while providing all the support and information you need in between.

While many DVDs have great talents on them who have done some amazing things, they tend not to be designed around someone who is not at the performers level. Veena, however, excels at breaking things down and getting back to the basics even providing multiple options for doing the same exercise or move as your skill, strength and flexibility increase.

Cleo’s DVD is incredible. I was a complete beginner when I started her DVD!No excersing prior!!it wasn’t easy I’m like 6ft 150 pounds so my legs are kinda heavy lol but I tried my best to complete each excersice, and I was consuming enough protein. After a few months inconsistently doing it (because of vacations) I’m bearly to my middle splits and side splits and I feel strong 🙂 I like a good challenge physically. Good things don’t come easily 🙂

Cleo’s workouts seem like they would work me out well, but I think I will go back to Veena’s workouts for awhile. I Seemed to get faster results with less time. Maybe if I get bored I’ll give Cleo’s DVD another go. 🙂

old post but this is my opinion.. I tried rockin legs & abs and it was really hard at first.. I was thinking: “Is it necessary to be that hard and intense”? I was exhausted all day the first times. Also after the flexibility training, my hip flexors were sore for long time and I din’t know if that was good or bad.

I like going between the 2 of them. When I need a quick workout I use Venna and when I am ready to get down to the nitty-gritty I use Cleo’s or other DVDs that I have for pole. I like to switch it up.
