I did the one in October. Good experience. The only gripe was that they don’t allow the contestants to watch each other’s performances. Same as USPDF, I guess. Other than that, I had a great time. Good luck to anyone going this Feb. I hear they are breaking the contestants up into to two groups so they can tape two episodes on the same day. My advice… don’t be in Alethea’s group.

I originally didn’t submit for this show because I was told anyone with USPDF pro status was not allowed to participate…clearly that is not the case. I’m considering it now but I feel iffy about having a TV producer decide what to show, etc. I dunno…

Is this something that will be televised or do you have to go the live shows. no , heres the info i know. you send them an audition photo and 30 sec video, i guess if they like what they see you win a spot in the 25 contestants for a chance to win 1st, 2nd or 3rd place (with money prizes) these placements also get you into the final episode, which they say on their website, will put all the 1st,2,3rd places in a grand challenge episode for $25,000. so everyone who goes to vegas should have their name/face on tv or dvd or where ever it ends up being published.
they are trying to to a total of 12 episodes, and so far there are 2 and 2 more might be filmed this February 27th instead of just one per date.
I have had them tell me they might go for E! , BRAVO, lifetime or a private network like showtime or HBO if need be, so far nothing is final, but they did say they are sure it will be aired somehow.
The lady who I talked to said she is still looking for talent, so if you are interested in being apart of it send them your info!!! You do have to pay for your own way over there, and you get a discount on the hotel, but you have to pay for that too, it would be great for publicity though i’m sure. They seemed helpful to me and answered emails and send you a CD with the music you use (you cant perform to your own choice besides one or two tracks they send you)

The show was supposed to air in January on Bravo but all that’s been changed. Does anyone know which network it will be on now and when?

They haven’t even filmed the finals yet so I’m assuming the show wouldn’t be aired for awhile. Not until they schedule the finals at least.

I was supposed to be in their April competition and it’s been postponed. To this day, they still haven’t given me a new filming date. Grrrrr….I had already booked my flight but they said they’d reimburse me for the flight changes for the new competition date….whenever is IS!! Has anyone else been waiting since April to compete??

I’ve been waiting for finals since I competed last Dec. It seems like E or HBO would jump to pick up on it since its a reality show.

Well Fawnia and Jenyne told me that they’re having problems finding enough competitors. They want at least 10 competitors per show. I only know of 3 (including myself) that were planning on competing back in April.
