  • Vid is screwy once uploaded

I uploaded my first vid, and while the file played just fine on my comp, once I had it uploaded it would randomly speed up and slow down. I tried exporting it from imovie into a smaller file (less frames per second, smaller mb, still .mov format) but then when I uploaded that the vid portion played fine but the audio would randomly speed up and slow down.

I suppose that’s alright, If either the vid or the audio has to be screwy I’d rather have the vid be normal. I’m Just wondering if there’s something I’m doing wrong on my end. Is my file too big (I think it’s only like 4 mb)? Is it the wrong format(.mov)? Or is it just some random error that’s happening when it uploads?

Has anyone else had this problem?

I had the same problem… so started searching the forums to see if it had happened to anyone else. The first video I uploaded was fine. The second did the same problem you were having. The difference in video’s is that the first, it has the original music that i had on when i was actually pole dancing. whereas the second video I added a different soundtrack to the original I had on when dancing. This is the only difference, but not quite sure why it does it.

If you found out how to fix it, could you let me know! hehe. Sorry couldn’t be much more help. x

Hmmm… Interesting about the sound track. It did it to me too when I posted my Halloween video. I spent so much time on it, and it ended up all screwed up when I uploaded it. It bummed me out. I haven’t posted since, but it’s good (?) to know it is still happening.

I had the same problem and with my halloween video. I also deleted it (several times) but they all stayed up on the site. They just don’t show up in my profile which is fine because I wanted to delete them. I also had added a different sound track. I’ll try next time with the original music. I haven’t put up a video since either.
    thanks

I had the same problem too when the new player first went up, but it has not been an issue for me anymore. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif I would try again.

i re-posted the same video with the original music I had one when I was practising. And the video was fine. Just it doesn’t sound great as I have edited the video and cut bits out so obviously the music has been cut out too. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

I will try again with my next video with added on music. I just don’t want people to have to go through listening to dodgey music! hehe. Bloody Technology, eh! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
