Increase my flexibility. Splits please! That is the bane of my existence…

Increase my flexibility and strength- I’d like to master some of my lower-level moves, and really work on my sexy dancing 🙂

My pole goals for 2014 is to become stronger, more flexible, more disciplined with practicing and stretching, complete a nice and controlled basic invert and become better at transitioning and creating routines. 🙂

    More flexibility and fluidity (always!)

Specific moves that I can kind of do but am determined to perfect are:
    Deadlift
    Phoenix!!!
    Iron X
    Allegra
    Cup/split grip handspring/ayesha
    Various tumbles and drops

I would also like to start learning
Russian split and other split moves
    Shoulder mount flip

oh please 2014 bring me a graceful basic invert, a fabulous chopper and front splits. And whatever comes after I’m satisfyed!!! My ass is impossible to move up of the ground, it has it’s own gravity, yoknow

HappyRabbit, I know exactly how you feel. I am hoping for those things, too!

I pass my grade 5 exam! Which will entail getting my moves way more polished and solid, and also finally choreographing a proper routine. So I’m determined to get it!

-Flexibility. I’m almost flat on my middle splits.

-Poling consistently: I’ve been slacking a lot lately, mostly due to the insanity that is retail during the holidays and partially due to my own laziness.

-Combos: I feel like I had a solid amount of pole moves in my repertoire so now, I want to string them together eventually being able to choreograph a routine to a song.

-Hitting the see studio more often: The studio I want is moving again to a location that is more convenient to me so I’ll be able to go more often.

To improve my inverts, so i can get all the moves associated with inverting. Right now. I’m obsessed with trying to learn an Advanced Star. I’ve managed to finally get it from the floor. Next step in getting my invert correct to transition into the position. ALMOST THERE! 🙂

My pole goals for 2014 are Ayesha, Jacknife, Handspring & Cartwheel mounts and Iron X! Working toward getting these all by April or before!!!

Also, combo and transition fluidity and spin mode poling (It’s time to get serious!) before the end of the 2014 🙂

Oh I love this..There are some great goals on here! Let’s see, definitely most definitely Rainbow Marchenko! My mind just wont connect with my body on that one. Cartwheel mount or handspring Im not picky 😉 And of course what I imagine every poler wants…IRON X! I hope we do an end of the year recap on this topic. 🙂

I would love to be more fluid during dance and combos! I am always over-analyzing everything and it is very apparent when I watch videos of myself. Other than that, I really want to get the Phoenix, get my Jade super-flat, and be able to touch my toes to my head (back flexibility). Yay for awesomeness in 2014!

I just started a couple months ago and LOVEE it! I’m almost 42 tho and have tendonitis in my wrists and shoulders w a lil arthritis ( I’ve been doing hair for over 20 years ),. It takes more classes and work to get my upper body back to shape…my goal right now is to master the invert and the climb 🙂 may take a lil longer then the younger girls but I’m determined! I got my own pole also can’t wait to get it up and spinning! Hope everyone has a fun and safe New Years 🙂

2014 Short Term: Icarus, and cleaning up my cartwheel and shoulder mount. I’m close to getting the icarus, but it is killing me that I’m not there yet..

2014 Longer Term: Split Grip Ayesha (outside of cartwheel mount), Split Grip Aerial Walk, Reverse Grab+Phoenix
Back Flexibility and Middle Splits are on the wishlist too!
