I just want to get back on the pole and stick with it long enough to gain my confidence and my sexy back!!
I always let life get in the way but for 2014 i am going to make sure that doesnt happen!! -
My goals in 2014 is to build up my strength, get control of my grip, doing inverts increasing flexibilty and getting an overal control of my body, and practing and practing until I get it just like I picture me having it in my head!!
-
Increase flexibility, work on my middle & right splits, freestyle on a regular basis and get comfortable with dancing more. Also, straight leg inverts and dead lifting into headstands and handstands. I have a lot of work to do. Lol.

i am so happy that i can say that i was able to accomplish almost all of my goals from 2013. this year i hope for the same result! i will be updating my profile so right on my description i will see what i am working towards every day and not forget or loose focus. but on to the goals!! i will break it down by catigory
flexi:
flat middle splits, flat knee down straight splits, increase back flexibility to be able to do cocoon by 2014, stay committed to yoga challenges every day to keep balance and calmness in my day to day life.
tricks:
tricks are a hard one for me to narrow in on. what i really want from my tricks is to find comfort in the moves i know, and perfect them. gain enough skin tolerance on my legs to have more success in transitions and combinations. keep working on gaining strength and control on entrances and exits. im not looking to be able to do 100 different tricks. but to be able to do the ones i konw properly and with more ease..
stands and floor work:
basically the same. with gaining flexibility my floor work will improve. i really want to get a freestanding hand stand and elbow stand. and floating V i know i can get properly with increase flexibility.
as an overall want this year. is to build a routine, start to finish fully choreographed.i dont know if i am biting off more then i can chew. but i think i will feel success at the end of the year by focusing on an overall improvement this year. and getting more detail oriented.
wishing you all the best on your goals and achievements this year!
much love!

My goals are to invert (floor, not aerial), kick up into a handstand, and stop being so dang scared of being upsidedown (it is causing a block in my progress right now)

I wrote a blog about my goals.

Good luck to everyone, and congrats to all who achieved or surpassed their 2013 goals!

Get the Ayesha move. One of the hardest ones for me.
Handstand
DeadliftJust practice more pole. For some reason, I’m just not motivated much anymore. I started about a year ago.

I’m a brand-newbie to pole, so my goals are quite simple:
>>>Improve back flexibility (think Full King Pigeon Pose for yoga)
>>>Improve front splits and actually get to my middle split
>>>Improve upper body and core strength
>>>Learn how to let the music guide me through freestyle “playtime”; give in to the music and let my mind turn off and just DANCE!My ultimate goal is, like so many others, to perform a Rainbow Marchenko. One day I WILL successfully perform that trick!

Well now that I have my own pole
1) save up for a year of pole lessons on here 😀
2) get my strength up!Moves:
fairy
fireman
Fireman with leg out
Floater
Pirouette Pose
Spin to stand
Viva Slide
Walk down pole🙂

Most replies include one thing or another for me. I really want to work on flow and overall performance. I really want to be bendy and flexy. Twisted grip dead lift and twisted grip air walk would be awesome. Getting closer!
-
My pole related goal is to get the physio’s approval to start pole again. I miss it too much!
-
I’m going to be working on my inverts, middle splits, and a choreography for my hubby. I would also like to learn to combine pole and floor more. I hope to be able to perform publicly and to inspire other women to want to add pole fitness as a part of their fitness regimen. Hopefully I will be opening an Woman Only fitness center this year.

I’ve just acquired my own pole, and am trying to set basic goals for myself:
1. Keep poling consistently. With grad school using up a lot of time, I have to get up pretty early to fit in a workout.
2. Improve flexibility. My lower back is very tight if I don’t stretch every morning, so flexibility and stretching is crucial.
3. Basic invert. Some consistency would be good.
4. Floorwork
5. Pole climb. I need to get the leg muscle back to do this well.
6. Grip. My skin is naturally dry, so I need to figure out how to stay on the pole when I climb and sit.
7. Gemini. I had just started learning this when I left for school, so I’m hoping I can master this by the end of the year. -
I want to make it threw 1 hole song beautifully! I’m a beginner just 2 months in and I cant wait to be amazing at it!
