I’m a researcher/psychologist at an NGO. I’ve got a PhD in psychology 🙂 Although I don’t talk about pole with my clients everyone I work with knows and is supportive. Lol I had to explain all my bruises to some well meaning colleagues that were worried about me :p I’m happy to work somewhere that accepts me and my love of pole!

So much fun reading about what people do, great idea this thread! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
I got one of those boring office jobs; Assistant Operations Manager for a membership body while also doing a qualification in marketing (on my last unit now, woop!). I should right now be working on my assignment but keep getting distracted reading about and watching pole…
I live with my boyfriend in London but I'm actually from Sweden mixed in with some Icelanding omn my dad's side and no kids. Just ordered my own pole this weekend and I can't wait!

I’m a registered nurse for a children’s hospital in Miami. I love what I do but it can be very stressful at times. I work night shift 13 hours long. So my schedule gets crazy at times. Also a single parent to my handsome 12 year old son. Raised him by myself. I love to pole I’m still a beginner been off the pole for about a year and restarted about two months ago on and off. Haven’t taken pole classes at a studio for a year. Although I only took classes and was in level two for about 6 months or so but studio closed. Anyways I love this site. I don’t have any friends or sisters or colleagues at work that understand what pole dance is. They look at kinda bad. My mother loves it and understands it. It’s my form of therapy after a crazy work week or crazy moments of life. Great hobby and distracts u from many things . I’m in love with this site . I can’t wait to be able to invert but I know I’m not ready. Anyways that’s me 🙂

I'm a 7th grade Spanish teacher but I'm looking to change careers. I love books, so I'm looking into publishing or going back to school to become a librarian. I also love fitness, so at some point I would love to teach some group fitness classes.

I'm a web developer! I build some pretty awesome websites. Definitely spend many hours a day at a desk, so it's nice to get the release of poling after work.

I'm a vet. Everyone at work knows but as there are 3 or 4 of us in the practice that pole it's not considered too outrageous a pastime.
I've recently started dabbling in pole teaching, but my day job work hours are too full on to allow much of this. Vetting part time and teaching a few evenings each week would seem like a very appealing balance. Perhaps one day.

Creating and making costumes 🙂 after few years experience in making dance and gymnastic costumes will be moving to new level – pole dance costumes <3 so that is my 2nd job which I love. First one is airbrusher/carpainter, what means i work mostly with Airbrush and create some cool designs on everything . Bad thing is – lack of time ! but I find mostly 2 h everyday for practice 🙂

I am a designer for an attraction design firm. Been in the industry for 5 years. Right now we are building a 550 foot wheel in Las Vegas and The Observation Experience at The World Trade Center. I am so grateful to have a job I love.

I’m a veterinary technician. Most of my time is spent being a mom and a wife though. We are a family that poles and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Trying to raise our daughter to be strong and healthy so she gets to experience all sorts of activities. She’s six and has no fear, so obviously she’s more advanced on the pole than me!
