What do you wear when poling?
Posted by CMarie on April 25, 2012 at 1:51 amI like to wear bikini bottoms but have not figured out what works for me as a top. If I wear a bikini top I fall out. But I don’t like wearing sports bras because they flatten me out so much. An if I wear a regular bra I still end up falling out (not as much as I do with a bikini top, but still) and I end up with bruising from where the wires are on my bra. Are there any sports bras that are cute? Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

I have the same problem. But I just ordered a top from Mika Yoga wear and I think that might just work out for me 🙂

I have a rather small bust so like to pole in my trusty push up bra, however to keep me 'safe' I put my sports top/bra over the top. That way I still look bigger and have a nice shape, but don't have to worry about falling out 😀

I refuse to wear ugly compression sports bras LOL so maybe I can help.
I like Victoria's Secret VSX bras from their sports line, and the PINK yoga bras are really nice as well (I recommend handwashing all VS stuff though). They're not compressing/flattening like other sports bras are (some are even push up) and they have a lot of cute designs.
I have the Bad Kitty spiderback top which is fantastic as well, though it runs quite small. Haven't tried the others from the line but I'm sure they're nice.
Aerie (by American Eagle) makes some cute sports bras too, and bralettes (I can get away with poling in them, but they may not be supportive enough for larger busted women).
Haven't tried the Mika bras but I have the shorts and I love them. Their tops are really cute though!

I have mid-sized girls that luckily don't fall out of regular bras, so that's what I wear. Underwire, always. I refuse to be shoehorned into a horrid sports bra. They're constricting and I want to look like I have *two* boobs, thankyouverymuch.
Chemgoddess has posted links before to some very cute sports bras from KMart, of all places, that appear to not have the squishy uniboob look. I need to check those out.
I have issues with shorts rolling down at the waistband. I don't care if they ride up some, but I hate the rolling down. 🙁

Well I’m glad I’m not the only one who has this problem! Haha I’ll try the regular bra under a sports bra until I can make my way over to vs. I like to have the push up option, because after having a baby, they just aren’t the same :/ Lol. And I need support or else they fly all over the place 😛

I hate sport bras too, but they are the only thing that hold in my DD's when I invert! I even went to VS and they recommended their Yoga Bra. They gave me their largest size and said it would hold me in. I even told them it was for pole and I needed them to stay in when I go upside down. They assured me it would wor, but I wanted to try it on. Got in the fitting room, put it on, bent way over and FLOP! The damn things worked right out. I now found some cheap bras from Walmart that hold me in. They were three dollars a piece, hold me in, and don't look so much like like a uni-boob bra, kinda, but not as bad. Oh to be able to wear cute little outfits/bras……..

Mika yoga wear, Bad kitty exotic wear has pole fit, VS yoga bras. The yoga bras are better for more pettite ladies.

I really like the C9 sports bra's from Target. I can even find them in my size and I have very large breasts (size F). Also found some very cute boyshort panties from Target too.

I got a bunch of cute sports bra's by Mita at meijers on sale for 10 bucks each. They actually make my breasts look better then lots of my regular bra's no squishing no uniboob. I actually ordered a bunch of thos genie bra's and like them too and would buy a bunch if I could order specific ones insead of a 3 pack.
