    Hey guys!
I’ve noticed that the past few months that I’ve been fatigued and tired most part of the day. I used to be in school and working overtime as a waitress but now I have a relaxed life at home as a housewife. In the morning I feel tired and don’t feel like getting up. I can do a few task through out the day but after those few things, I feel exhausted.
I was concerned about this problem and have seen many medical doctors. I am fine. My vitamin D levels are low. I do suffer from fibromyalgia, but other than that, I am relatively healthy. I try to exercise and sleep well- this is what most helps my fibromyalgia.
Sometimes after I do pole for an hour, I feel like laying down and sleeping.
I would really appreciate some advice. How can I get my energy levels up? Does anyone else suffer from this fatigue too?

I tend to suffer a kind of fatigue when I’m not doing a lot of stuff during my days. I think I’ve pinned it down to a couple of things:
First, how much food are you eating? This can play a huge role, and I’ve struggled with it for most of my life. If I’m not doing anything, I tend not to eat- don’t feel hungry, so why bother? But, I get into an unfortunate cycle of using sleep to restore my energy, rather than food, and that in turn causes me to feel more tired more of the time, and have nothing to give to life when I’d like to be more active.
The second thing… well, what do you do in your day? When you’re in school, and when you’re working, you have things to get up for, and reasons why you feel you NEED to get out of bed. If those things don’t exist… why get up at all? Because of this, I find myself oversleeping, and wake up exhausted and headachy… I also tend to nap a lot, trying to just pass the time.
Strangely, I feel more energetic the more I do, because I’m taking care of myself, and I’m demanding things of my body. I know it sucks 😉

I agree with runemist34… When I’m busy I have more energy (in general, I still love a good nap ever now and again)….

But unlike runemist34 when I’m not active allllll I do is eat… And eat unhealthy… Which sends me into a food coma. :/ That’s just me though.

Thank you both for the advice.
It is a transition period for me and I am trying to motivate myself to get things done during the day. I do notice when I do more, the more energy I have.
I do find myself oversleeping and with lots of headaches. Also, I either don’t eat because I’m not hungry or I’ll over eat because I’m bored. It can go either way any day for me.
This week I am going to try to get up at the same time everyday and go to bed at the same time everyday. Also, I am going to make a list tonight of the things I need to do this week and also the things I want to do this week.
It’s my birthday on Wed so I’ll have some time to get out of the house with my husband.
There’s a park near my house and I am thinking that walking everyday could help as well. Getting out and enjoying nature is something I’ve always loved doing.
Another thing I need to do that I have a hard time doing- is drinking water!! I hardly ever drink water and I think this could cause fatigue as well. I am going to hydrate myself this week.
Overall, I am going to try to be proactive this week. I have lots of reasons to get out of bed in the morning. So instead of going back to bed, I am going to push myself, get up and start my day.
Thank you again for the tips, Rune & Ally. I appreciate it a lot.

    No problem!

And happy birthday! I always tend to feel really old and sluggish around my birthday. But thankfully it always passes.

    Thanks, Ally!
I am just wondering where the time went. Seems like yesterday I was just 18. The years have kind of meshed together.
I am still excited. Hubby to Wed off so we’ll go out and have a drink or something.
Hope you’re having a good day.

For me sometimes it’s psychological.. when I feel down, I don’t have the strength to do anything.. A coffee before pole helps me..

Yeah, I know what you mean soko. I have coffee in the morning, but maybe a cup before pole would be good too.
I actually just finished a practice. I’ve been busy all day and I was able to do an hr of pole. Lol, now I wanna eat and rest.

I do B12 shots and always take my vitamins. I have noticed when my energy gets low the B12 shots really help more then just the vitamins. I feel you on the birthday depression. I was there last month. My vitamin D levels aren’t great but I do try to get a bit of sunlight when I need to wake up. I burn easy so its not much, but just standing outside with the morning sun on my face for a few minutes helps me realize “It’s morning woman, get your ass in gear and get moving.” Also, If I keep the house all closed up and blinds closed I cant wake up.

    Have a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Try a parasite/worm clean. Many fatigue/sick symptoms seem to relate to it. There are some natural methods other than eating the conventional tablet.

Thank you, Missy. I always have the blinds closed in the morning, but I am thinking of keeping them opened so that when the sun comes up, I will see it. Thank you for the advice, it’s always nice to know that someone else can relate.
