What’s The Best Shoe For Narrow Feet?
Posted by Eden Body on July 23, 2012 at 2:06 pmSo UPS just delivered my first pair of pole shoes (ellie) and while they fit the length of my foot fine, the strap part that fits across the toes is a bit roomy. I remember someone mentioning that most pole shoes are made for women with wide feet. Is this really true? Does anyone know of a company that make shoes to fit narrow/slender feet? Or do any of u ladies with narrow feet have any fave companies that fit u well? I appreciate any suggestions.

I also have narrow feet, I always had perfect fits with Tony Shoes, based out of CA. They are a bit expensive but they fit like a glove and they last, ive had mine for 7+years. Ellies always seep to only last me about a year before they start lifting or the straps break. Hope this helps

I have wider feet. I find Ellie fits me well and Pleasers are too narrow, so you might have better luck with Pleasers. I've never tried Tony Shoes. Good luck!

I have found that Ellies do tend to run wider than Pleasers, at least in the styles I have tried on and own.

I have narrow feet as well, and have never been able to get Pleasers to fit unless they are a boot or mary jane style. Ellie shoes always start out sort of fitting, but I find that they dont hold up well. I have tried Tony's and had the best fit with them. Though ultimately, I sacrificed the look of the shoe for the fit, so I don't really like them that much and never wear them. If you check them out on line, I believe that you can even design your own shoes! I have been tempted because I do really like Tony the best for fit, but its definitely not a cheap option. For now, I just get Pleaser Mary Janes.

I have narrow feet too and have found that Pleasers fit really well. I was able to find the pair I have now for $25 on sale in a store in my area, but they have them on Amazon.com for $30-40. They seem to hold up pretty well too, I've had my favorite pair of pole shoes from Pleasers for over 2 years.

Pleasers work best for me. And, specifically the ones w/ clear uppers. I just got these & I love 'em. http://www.snaz75.com/pl-adore-708uv.html

I'll chime in for Pleasers too… I have narrow feet and have a hard time finding shoes that don't slide around on my feet. Pleasers are the only ones that fit snug. With dance shoes I go with a smaller shoe than I normally would… like, with normal shoes you should choose a shoe slightly too big over slightly too small, but I find with dance heels having them fit very tightly is IMPORTANT or they become a hazard with all that foot sliding. Perhaps try sizing down as well.

Thanks so much ladies! This was VERY helpful. I'll definitely give Tony and Pleasers a try *fingers crossed*
I'll let you all know how it works out xoxo

I have a pair of Pleasers but they're too wide for me… However, a friend pointed out that those gel inserts that go under the ball of your foot to help prevent blisters would probably solve it completely.
If you find something just a *little* bit too loose that might be worth a try 🙂
