Hello! I am an intermediate poler with my own pole at home, I currently pole 2-3 days a week and have been poling consistently since the beginning of January. I can’t make the lesson times at my local studio anymore and decided to try out online lessons! Now I am VERY excited / overwhelmed with the amazing amount of content on here, but I’m so used to a warm up, choreo/flow, new tricks and then flexibility training in one lesson that I’m a little lost here. Where should I start? How do you recommend I use these videos if I don’t feel like I need to 30 days to begin series? I can invert, although I’m kicking up into it which I see you don’t recommend here. My studio taught it that way, but I’m willing to do any and all conditioning to move forward. I don’t mind going through all the beginner lessons but I don’t want to lose strength. Thoughts? Thanks SO much! Really looking forward to getting started here!

Hi! Even though you are intermediate still start by going through the beginner pole work and start by watching the first pole lesson. https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/4dd006a7-c45c-4c1e-b6b6-4a870ac37250 This video tells you how to use the lessons. You don’t need to watch every video in the beginner section but it might be helpful to go through the pole and spin work. If you’re looking to work through things on your own move onto the intermediate section, just remember that the lessons are in order so they build on each other.

You’ll find a lot of helpful info in the Veena’s tips section, think of these lessons as mini workshops. Also you’ll see many options in the Routines and Combo section.

You could also try using the 30 day program but then add on any more advanced work that you like, I doubt you’d loose strength, you might be surprised at the gain you see. The 30 days doesn’t just include pole work, there’s conditioning, flexibility work and warm ups as well.

Anyway, whatever section you choose to work on just watch the first lesson this will give you the rundown on most things. Read all descriptions too! 🙂 We have a sale going on this week so nows the time to buy the year plan!

Wow you got back to me really quickly! Thanks! I think I will start the 30 days to fly program with my own freestyle and see how it works. I feel like my studio really moves us much more quickly than you do, I’m excited to see what I can gain with much more in depth explanations and strength training. I’m so glad I found your site!
