Which pole shoes do you like the best
Posted by Armonia on August 28, 2012 at 10:08 amHi!
just wanted more advice on gear, I have a pair of clear ellie shoes, but was looking into buying other brands. Do you have any advice on brands or how long to replace the heals? Do the clear plastic shoes have a shelf life?
im quite happy with the ellie's BUT the ankle strap came to big and I had to make a new hole in order fit secure, and my feet are more on the wide side so the took some time to strech out and feel comfortable
THANKS!

For class or practice at home, i use my less expensive funtasma platforms. When i want to perform, dress up or show off, i wear my more expensive pleasers.
I really like the funtasmas though, i’ve had my black pair (that i wear for class & when i practice at home) for almost 3 years & they are just coming to the point of needing to be replaced now.
The pleasers are sooo pretty but expensive, so the 2 pair i have, i rarely wear them because i dont want to wreck them prematurely.

I just saw the funtasma , but was wondering if they were good, glad i asked!
do they also run small?

I like the Ellie's-they're very comfortable compared to the Pleasers however yea just for practicing the funtasma platforms are good and less expensive.

I dance in my Pleasers alllll the time and haven't ruined them yet. I have a pair that's 4 years old, has been danced in probably 3x/week. Recently glittered them to change them up a little, and they're still going strong.

LOVE my Pleasers. They are only a year or so old but they're scuffed, filthy, and just as sexy as ever. There were a few months there where I would pole every(other)day and I wore these shoes as warm up/cool down dance shoes. They are suuuper comfy. I'm more comfortable in these heels than I am in my everyday street heels. If only it weren;t taboo to go to the store in my 7 inch heels!! lol I'm thinking it's definitely time for another pair or two.

Personally I like Pleasers because they are super comfortable and I'm not normally a heel wearer. I have 4 pairs and they all happen to be Pleasers, but I LOVE THEM!!

I have a pair of Ellie shoes that I have used for dancing. They fit a little loose, so I'm looking to get something more secure. I just bought some Bordadello Pleasers. They are super cute and I haven't danced in them yet since I don't want to scuff them. I might just look at them for a while.

I LOVE my Pleasers!!! I have tried Ellie and Tabu footwear but the Pleaser line fits the best for me.
Everyone gets their own 'shelf life' out of shoes… if I wear a shoe 5 times a week I will use it up within 4 months. I size down from my street shoes because if not the vamp will stretch way too much within two months to wear. When the vamp stretches too much my foot will fall out on floorwork or it feels unstable due to being too loose. The most common reason I will replace shoes are due to straps breaking off at the base.

We are all different, but I have relatively small feet and love my Ellies!!! I have 1 pair of Pleasers. They seem to fit me the same. My second pair of Pleasers are on their way to my house!!! I got the Pleaser Stardusts in 6 inch!!!!!! Clear.

I'm not as experienced in pole dance as many of you so I have a question. I have narrow feet. Is it true that the shoes with the clear tops tend to fit or hug the foot more securely than the black top shoes? When I bought my Pleasers last week, the woman who was helping me told me this. The Pleasers with the clear tops fit me well. I bought a pair of Ellies (black top) a couple months ago (on-line) and my feet slide through the fronts. Some of the other SV ladies have said that Ellies tend to run a bit wide. I would really like to try something besides the clear tops. I heard Tony's shoes fit narrow feet better but when I went to the store to try them on (black strap) my foot still kind of slid through the front. I don't want to go down a size because then it won't fit the length of my foot properly. Ugh, I really want a pair of solid color dance shoes. The shoes that I really want I can only get on-line. That bothers me cuz I can't try it on first. I haven't tried any solid Pleasers yet though so maybe there's still hope. Any suggestions?

I use pleasers and they tend to run smaller in size. I notice the clear tops are tighter when it is cooler out, until my feet warm them up. They also tend to stretch out faster than my black ones.and also shrink back (more or less) according to temperature. In my experience the black ones will tear away from the shoe before the clear ones, but that is after a lot of use..When the strap on the back starts to go, I will cut them off and use the shoe as a slide on. I try to get my money's worth :). When I am lazy I cheat with thigh high boots, They grip really well for me.I usually buy my shoes smaller. So when they do stretch out and not really go back, I am not swimming in them.Which means I get a little longer use out of them. My shoes only last me 6 months when I am dancing every day . If I only dance a couple times a week they last a lot longer.

i Love pleasers, i got a whole collection, its the brand for me, they are small, feminine and oh so sexy
I find ellie are bigger and their heels are not as pointy (more square)
I also loove the "Highest heel" brand, very expensive but unique

You know what Wild Lotus? I have a pair of Pleasers that are Pink all the way around and I guess that would be in the same family as the black top and my foot doesn't slide around in them. I mean I have a size 5 foot, but it's pretty secure. I guess it comes down to what material the shoe is made out of.
