The mm is the pole diameter, 50 is the biggest and the one I have then you have 45 and 40. The 40 is very small, it's more likely your studio uses 45 but I would phone them up now just to make sure.

@Eva: multipiece poles can go up to 12 ft. after that, they reccommend getting a one piece pole which is more stable after that height. If you want to go over that height I also recommend buying a permanent ceiling mount for added safety and stability

someone can help me? almost 13 feet;
-
or where can i buy it, and what does it mean permanent..this house where i live is not mine.. what i need to know?
-
Permanent means you need to screw something into your ceiling through one of the joists, which you might not be allowed to do if the house isn't yours.
for the pole you were looking at you need to know exactly how tall the ceiling is in inches.
Is there another room where the ceilings aren't so high?
-
Those r some tall ceilings, dont know about tall poles like that. Some others wiill have advice.
-
I think the companies will tell you the ceilings are too high for a removable pole. You may need to save up for a stage…
-
Eva, if your ceilings are 13ft and you can install a permanent pole, go with a one piece pole from platinum stages. They cut their poles to fit your ceiling height. If you can't install a permanent pole or don't want to, go with either an x-stage from x-pole or a star stand alone from ps.

I love xpole but i find chrome far to fucking slippery and i dislike how it canges from non spinning to spinning but it is well built… as for Platinum stages…. i heard so many bad things i ordered a multipiece stainlesss steel spinning and non spinning portablepole and it is awesome!!!! i love it … didnt have any problems with recieving it i think there customer service has gotten better

which finish is the best? I have chrome and it's super slippery

Finish depends on the person. What is best for me may not be the best for you unfortunately.
