I started out as Loopy_II on Veena. "Loopy" is an old nickname my childhood friend gave me and I use it on several websites. It's common for websites to already have a "Loopy," so that's why I add the roman numeral "II." I became "Masked Loopy II" on Veena after I started posting videos because I wear a mask when I record myself. It's a way to participate more on the site while retaining some anonymity.

A studio I attended calls all of its clients Goddesses. When I tried to use "Pole Goddess" for Twitter it was already taken, so I put Diva in front of it because I feel like I'm a sassy pole goddess, lol.

OK lyme lyte, this is for you https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif I used the name Veena for my alias on my first Sinbabylk Youtube account. I was only weeks into pole dance and wasn't sure if I wanted anyone to know my real name. When I started the website, I decided I should stick with the name Veena so my Youtube fans could remember the websites name. There's a bit more to this story…..The name Veena, had come from an amatuer night I once participated in. This was before I knew people could pole dance at home, and before I ever started pole dancing. Anyway, I had to come up with a stage name that night. I'm awful with thinking up names, but I had the Neena and Veena belly dance dvds and the name Veena sounded so pretty. Oh and btw, Veena means "A musical Instrument" this is perfect because when I dance I feel as though my body is the musical instrument.

When I started pole a little over a year ago, the studio I attended required that we come up with a stage name to use for our videos (I was in a beginner choreography class and we got to shoot a video of our routine at the end). I decided on Holly Satine because I always liked the name Holly, and of course that's also the name of Audrey Hepburn's character in Breakfast at Tiffany's. Satine is the name of the main character in Moulin Rouge. I liked the idea of putting together names from two characters that were both independent and a little adventurous, but that also represented contrasting characteristics – vulnerability, sweetness, sassiness, and sensuality.

I own a bar (Hotel Bar and Grill). The bar has always been known as the Hotel because it was first opened as a hotel during prohibition 90+ years ago. It is one of the oldest operating businesses in my community with a rich history – one of my favorites is that it has always been operated by women. I have an all-female staff and we refer to ourselves as the Hotel Chicks. I can’t think of another nickname for me so that’s the one I used here.
Recently I’ve been contemplating changing my name here because business has been difficult and I just don’t know what will happen with it. However, I am a Hotel Chick and can’t imagine a time I won’t be one. I’m part of an amazing history, even if my part consists of struggle. So, Jenny is my name, but, HotelChick is my identity. -
Daisy Head Mayzie is a Dr. Suess book, I loved to read Dr. Seuss to my daughter when she was little. Mae is also my nick name that my mom called me since I was born. Someone called my DaisyHeadMayzie once and it just kinda stuck 🙂
