Why won’t my October Challenge video upload to Studio Veena?

I have been trying for 2 days to upload my challenge video. I have tried so many times and the video says it has uploaded 100% but it just stays on the "still processing" screen for hours and hours and nothing happens after that.

I have made sure I'm not uploading a project, I've cleared my cache, I've updated my flash player, the internet connection is running at a high speed, I am using the same program I use to upload all my other videos so that wont be the issue.

I uploaded the exact same video to YouTube with no problems at all, I also uploaded another video to SV the other day with no issues.

Any suggestions or ideas as to why my video will not upload?

It still has not uploaded. I am hoping that @webmaster or @veena will fix this and get my video to post to the site.

Hey 🙂 I had the same problem when I tried to upload a video, and was told to clear the cache,

I just went to my internet options and cleared history cache etc and then it uploaded fine 🙂

@allthatglitters – The file is never properly saving to the server. I know why its happening and its alot of technicall mumbo jumbo. While its not because of your file format generally saving to another format will fix the problem. So if you are saving as WMV try saving to AVI for example.

Thanks, I’ll give that a shot. How would I save it to AVI or different type of file?

@Webmaster can I ask why this particular video is having issues? I use WMV for all my other ones on here and they have loaded fine.
Windows Live Movie Maker does not allow you to save with any other files, there is only WMV, there isn’t any other options.

There is nothing wrong with the format. Video files are large and complex which increases the chance that they will randomly contain escape characters that cause the browser to think the file is done uploading. YouTube has thousands of programmers creating proprietary software to circumvent these situations whereas our team is much smaller. Windows movie maker used to let you choose wmv or avi the new version doesn’t have nearly as many features. You may have more success with something like videospin which can be found at http://www.videospin.com

@webmaster I used the link you provided to videospin and I uploases to SV again but using an AVI file this time.
It has loaded fully to 100% and has been like that for the last hour.
Can you tell me what’s happening at your end with this please.

@webmaster just wondering if you saw my last post? Can you tell me why even uploading with AVI it’s not working?
