  • Wig while pole dancing?

Hey everyone, I’m only 23 but I have been watching my hairline slowly receding for the past year. Today I dyed my hair and noticed two bald spots that were definitely not there a month or two ago. I’m not at the point that I need a wig yet but if it should come to that, has anyone danced in a wig? Or does anyone have any advice for my hair? The only thing I really do to it is dye it and not very often. Other than those spots it’s healthy. Thanks so much for any advice or info

Sounds like you might want to see a doctor about your hair. It could be indicative of something larger going on in your body, and would be best to get it checked out, so that you know you are healthy.
As for wigs, I’m fairly certain that there are many options out there, but I think most people have ones that fit well, and use bobby pins and things to hold it to their head. Wigs are not the most stable things out there, so you may need to get into some innovation for something like pole dancing with a wig, especially inverting.
    Good luck!

Thank you so much! I do plan on seeing a doctor/dermatologist soon, getting an appointment can take a while though

Hi! First I hope you figure out what’s going on with your hair loss, that must be stressful! To answer your question, a quality will will have hooks and an elastic band that will allow you to tighten the wig around your head. You can add Bobbie pins and such if you need to as well. 😊 I’ve dancing in wigs before and it’s not a problem as long as it’s a good quality wig and not too long lol

I wear wigs, my hair is very thin and I ended up having to cut it real short and I really missed my long hair so I started wearing wigs veenas advice is spot on I wear them a lot now on and off the pole a good wig cap will also keep the wig on lots of practice like flip it a bout try it on spin upside down will tell you whether you need to add bands or Bobby pins etc..
