  PowerTwirl, there are SOO many things that could be causing it to have no sound.

  so just a frustrating day but I wanted to do some video editing with wmm? Can someone tell me why it will just close on me when i go to view a video??

  Because it is free and buggy.

   

  Try unisntalling and reinstalling it.

  My copy of WMM crashed or closed quite often. I just got into the habit of hitting Ctrl + S (the keyboard shortcut for save) every 60 seconds or so. Of course, if you can't even import a video there's nothing much to save yet. Good luck!
