Wow. Just Wow..
I post my pole photos on FB as many of us polers do. I have a very selective list of friends, of which more than 2/3 are fellow polers. One of them is an old boyfriend.. We’re talking almost 30 years ago. Today, I posted the New Years photos that I posted here on SV this morning. This is the message he sent me, and my response. All I have to say is that I certainly picked the right man to marry.
“Susan, please indulge me because I think everyone on FB has this question but are afraid to ask. Here it goes: what does Dennis think of these pictures of you? I mean, if my wife looked like you, in these pictures, I would be kind of freaked out by you posting them for the world to see. I mean, a nice family album on the coffee table, yea, that’s OK. But, like do guys at his office ever give him the thumbs up ? wait a minute….does he even know you do this? where in the house is your pole room?”
“My husband is very, very suppportive of my sport. He knows that I post these photos and he loves to show them off whenever he can (to people he knows), including the men and women he works with. (He works for the FAA). I do not post these publicly, however, I would be naive to believe that they might not make their way out further than that. I am okay with that. Whatever someone chooses to do with them…I don’t want to know. As long as they are not profiting from them in some way. Dennis is extremely proud that his 49 year old wife can do this and look like this. If he asked me not to post them, I would agree with him, but he is fine with it. There are far more provocative and beautiful women out there than me. By the way. Of course he knows I do this. He is my partner, my best friend, my most trusted person, and a hell of a husband. Hope this answers your question.”

Great response! You should tell him my 80+ year old Mom helped me put my pole up in my house, and she comes to watch the end of term performances at the studio I go to ;-)And she tells everyone I pole dance!!

If that’s your body in that photo… I’d be posting it where ever I bloody well could! I would almost be letter box dropping that photo cos for 49 years of age you’re FIT! I’m 24 and I don’t look anything near that! Good on you and your supportive husband π keep up the good work.

Thanks everyone…KSLICE, yes that is me! CHEM, I know, right? What a stupid thing to ask. PDR- I love you!! AMILOO He did respond. Basically he said, “I figured as much”. He was really jealous when I started dating my husband and he just went through his second divorce. Maybe he was checking to see if I was bored yet, lol. I have post what another poler added to the thread. I don’t think she is a SV member, but this was great:

Oh Saphyre, what a loser that ex is. I love how he started out by saying, “indulge me.” I would say you are indulging him by allowing him to be your friend on FB. He is obviously a small-minded, chauvinistic ass. He made himself like look such a tool by posting that. I absolutely love your FB friend’s response, and I laughed out loud at Poledanceromance’s response on here!
If I had the lovely pictures you have I would have probably put them up on a billboard in my neighborhood. π
