Do you know if you will be able to use the 45mm pole on the current stages? Like swap them out? Just a curiousity – I can always find out too.

I am interested to see the x-pole lite.

    I don’t know Charley. That’s a good question.

I’m excited for the x-stage light. I got to see them at the convention and when I need a stage, that’s going to be the one I get https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

I am interested in the stability – I have the star pole and it’s okay but has some flaws that I’d like to see done away with. Our studio JUST got the X-stage and I didn’t realize the 45’s were so close to release. I love the X-stage i cannot believe how much punch that thing can take.

I hope you come to east coast – I’m bringing a pole!!!!!

I tried the XStage Lite too and I loved it.

However, it is not QUITE as stable at the original XStage. There is no way it can be since it’s a lower profile and lighter weight.

However it’s still 10 times more stable than any other stage pole out there and the pole itself is just as wobble free as the original stage. If i was buying my first Stage I’d probably go with the lite.

But then I guess it depends…there is an advantage to having the stage higher for performances. For example, the higher platform is great for your showcase at Auggies.

I’m on the pre-order list for the x-stage lite. The lady at vertical lesiure said that the guy was over in China as we spoke (16th Sept) and that she will send an email out for payment once they were on their way. I still haven’t heard but prayng it will be soon!!! I was told they should be here mid-October. They will then apparently have another shipment for later in the year (I think November/December).

Anyway, she said that next year they will be releasing an x-stage with 45mm and different finishes and that the stages will be interchangeable with the different poles (I can’t remember whether you will need to buy a new 45mm stage pole if you already have a 45mm x-pole but I think she said the stages have an adapter to take the poles).

I can’t wait!! Suspended ceilings have been the bane of my life and can’t wait to finally have a pole! I’ll post an update as soon as I have it. They’ve apparently improved since the test ones that have been out there too.

I’m gutted – phoned up to pay and they now say the x-stage lite may not be delivered till end of November or even end of December. They’ll apparently have another update in a couple of weeks. Is it worth me paying the extra for the r-pole? I’ve heard they’re not so good but I am so desperate to start poling. And the platinum stages is still showing no signs that the uk warehouse has been set up!! I feel like I’m going crazy waiting on finally getting my own pole (I have tried in vain to search for joists in my purpose-built flat but there are none)!!!
