We apologise but what was advised when you called was incorrect.
You can retain the base and upper dome (they have not changed design in the last 5 years) and use your current Top insert. You will need an new Silicone A*** and B Pole, extensions and new key X-Joints because the 2015 poles tubes have ‘keyway’ slots now and those are needed for the high rotational torque generated on the joints by the silicone grip in static mode.
It may be that they do not have the individual parts in stock at the current time and so proposed a complete set but we assure you the parts will fit and you can use your current base and dome.
*** Please note however, a complete new A-Pole (CP)is needed – not just the A-Pole tube – as significant improvements have been made to the operation of the adjuster, which now has a fixed, un-removeable adjuster cover which can be danced on and a new adjuster alignment guide.
