I’m seriously considering getting an x-stage, and would appreciate any feedback from owners or people with experience with it. The main advantage, and the reason I’m thinking about it, is not having to worry about ceilings any more!

So, would you say they’re worth the cost?
Is the stage wide enough that you don’t fall off the edges or do you have to be really careful?
I heard/read that they are really stable, so I’ll trust them on that unless someone tells me otherwise…

Anything else you can contribute in the way of advantages/disadvantages in your experience? Thanks so much!

I have used the X stage. I’m thinking about getting one too. I really liked it! Its sturdy and still has the spin option too, the base is large enough that you don’t feel like you’ll fall off and there are know sharp edges. The pole is nice and tall too, so just be sure you have enough hight for it. Its 10ft all together. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif Here is a fellow member Kittyclimber using her X pole. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif

Have also used the X-stage, and it is really good and feels secure. The only drawback like Veena said is that floorwork is limited.

They’re nice and stable to dance on (and I’m no delicate flower, size 12/14 – 175 lbs.) if it can handle me doing a sundial then it’s not going anywhere. The only thing I didn’t like was the platform is metal and it was LOUD, I guess that’s more of a personal preference though.

Can you not get a pole shorter than 10′??
