Hi – I’ve received an extra tall pole from x pole – I’m planning on erecting it into a steel joist and therefore have the ceiling mount – however there are no instructions and x pole technicians are abroad at a show and not back for over a week – no one in the x pole office knows how to assemble – has any one on here put one up or had one put up ??? I can work out how the base goes together as I’ve already got a few poles – but how do these bits go together ? What is the weird screw bit ???

I just recently bought and installed this mount, however I only had the block. No screws even. I got my own screws and installed it in the ceiling joists by the 4 holes on each end. It was super simple. My pole slid right onto the slightly curved jointed oily piece, and bam, done.

Hi I’m just CJ – so the bits you got did they look like mine ? – my mounting block has no screws and apparently they don’t come with screws – but that piece in the picture I am assuming sits inside the end of the x pole and from there is pushed into the mounting block – no way the thinner shaped end of it fits into the ceiling mount – there is also a strange looking screw which in the photo I’ve taken apart – that came in a little separate bag – did you have any of these bits ? – I’ve got a ceiling mount for my shorter pole plus an adapter that sits in the end ( it was originally an average pole with a mushroom hat ) – but these fixings are totally different !

I bought mine when I bought my x-pert. There weren’t any screws at all, nor that pole looking piece. The pole piece looks like the top adapter that goes into the dome, or into this mount. I want to call my hubby and ask him for more info for you, he put it up.

We are in Cologne Germany at the FIBO fitness show.

The scew part is for the base. It screws into the bottom of the base. A small 6.5mm hole (hardly seen) can be drilled into the floor and the pin goes into it, as the pole is adjusted in height, to secure the base. It is recommended for tall poles so the base cannot slip.

    Top Insert
The other part in the photo. Us screw the hex screw in the top and remove that and the washer. These are there to secure the Top Inset into the ball mount for the PoleAway system.

Install the inset into the top of the pole and the then the. Inset shaft will go into the ball in the mount.

I you need more help please PM us with you’re ole number and we will call you.
