Hi everyone, Wondering if you cab help me with a set up query.
My ceiling height is 7ft 9inch so shouldn’t need an extension, but to get the pole to fit snug I needed to extend the adjuster to about 5.5inch which is past the recommended max adjustment of 5inch.
I can’t use the 125mm extension as it’s too big.
Any advice? I really want my pole up asap. 🙁

7'9" is right at the border for needing the 125mm extension. It depends on how much your ceiling lifts up when you tighten it in place.

When you screw the slide cover in place is there a gap at the bottom where you can see the adjuster rod?

Unfortunately if your celing sags then lifts more than an inch or so, you will have to work with this to get the pole to fit. I would recommend going to one of the larger hardware stores like Lowes, and getting a 2 inch thick sqare or round piece of wood to put between the dome and the ceiling.

    Thanks for replying Empyrean.
There was a tiny gap (1-3mm)at the bottom of the adjuster cover, which is why I tried the 125mm extension, but it extends the pole way too much, there’s no way it will fit between floor and ceiling.
I think the 100ml extension will also be too big. I think you’re suggestion of the board is a good idea. Thanks

Ended up ringing x pole and they sent me out a 100mm extension which fits perfectly (apart from the fact the top doesn’t fit completely into the 100mm ext as the xjoint is in the way) so now I have my pole up, did a few moves-sundial spin and upside down as well as getting the fella to have a good tug and it seems stable.
First session on it tomorrow evening so fingers crossed it stays where it should 🙂
