My spin mode is crap on my xstage. Honestly I just never did much spin pole at home so I’m just now noticing how crappy it is. It doesn’t maintain spin very long night at all. I can use the poles at my studio and get them to spin with no problem so it’s not that I don’t know how to use a spin pole. The spin pretty much stops once I climb a few climbs up the pole. So lame. Anyone else experiencing this ? The pole feels nice a mobile like it should spin with no problem , it just dies very very fast . Can’t even climb 2 pumps up before it stops

I don’t have an X stage, but my regular pole had that problem recently. I put some wd40 in the threading at the bottom and it worked like a dream.

I can try that but it spins freely by hand already. It spins if I stay low on the pole but stops as soon as I take a climb or two. 🙁

My X-stage pole does the same thing. If I really launch into it, it spins for maybe 3-4 rotations then quickly stops. I’ve replaced the part that contains the ball bearings as was suggested by x pole, but it didn’t change anything. Now it maybe spins one rotation more, I wouldn’t call that fixed.

And yes, it feels like it SHOULD spin well, until you actually get on it.

I feel like it has something to do with wobbly- ness of being higher on the pole or something. I don’t know. It sucks for sure. It’s feels very loose like it should spin super fast like you mentioned. Wondering if it is the flex in the pole that cAuses this. My pole is very babied. Hasn’t traveled at all. So I don’t think that my pole is bent or there’s a lot of wear and tear on anything. I pretty much kept it on static mode. Only recently started putting it on spin . Hmmmm. I will ask xpole too . But I’m feeling like this is a stage pole thing since you are experiencing that too. Thank you for sharing your experience. 🙂

Yep, I just found an old thread here where xpole addresses this issue. I will have to check some things our later and see what I find….
