Xpert Installation
Posted by Chrissy05 on February 16, 2010 at 3:54 amHALLELUJUAH I finally got my Xpert pole https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif after a whole hassel with Fedex…I hate them so much https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_twisted.gif I was wondering if anyone could put up some step by step pictures or video on how to install the dangon thing??? Pretty please https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif When I was waiting to order the old xpoles they had videos and pix and i think even a dvd with pole…but now with they xpert all you get are written instructions. I’m a visual kinesthitic learner…reading directions does no good for me. I need to see it…so if anyone could post an installation video or pictures I know myself (and probably a lot of other new polers) would be most appreciative https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Thanks a bunches https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif

it was kinda confusing with the directions, a photo instruction would be so helpful. my husband put mine together. but once you watch it go up once you can do it yourself again, its not to confusing after you see it.

Yeah, I found the instructions pretty bewildering too! I kept thinking "they appear to be clear and well laid out…so why can I not understand what they mean??". Luckily for me I had a mate who was well experienced with putting up the old style ones (and he’s also a builder and knows useful constructy things) and once he sorted the bits and pieces, we could see it was pretty easy. But yeah, getting it up that first time is trciky – I totally agree they should do a dvd for the new range!

The new poles i found to be really easy once i had worked out that they put Lock-tite on the grub screws for travel and found once you really lean on them and break that (lock-tite) it was a snap but i wondered why no screws moved at all till i found that out.
If anyone has any questions about putting one up let me know and ill try and explan it (dont have a camera for making a vid sorry )

TBH I found I only needed to read the instructions once, after that I was able to put up and take down my x-pert with no problems. It’s very straightforward.

I thought these may be helpful for someone like me, who struggled with the Xpert set up. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif

I got the X-pert last friday.
The installation of the pole is very easy.
https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif The only problem with me is that the pole still rotates a little after putting it up and tightening everything.
(I’m sure I put the pole up correctly)
Does anyone else have this problem too?? -
Do you have the spinning screws aligned up correctly and firmly with the X’s on the base?

Yes I have. I had the old X-pole before, so I know how it works. (I learned that the hard way).
It rotates just above the spinning screws. -
hhhelllp!!! I got my X-sport today and I dunno what to do!!!!!

https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gifStart with watching this link so you can see how to work with the x-joint:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOatler1HyU" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The rest is very easy. There is only one way how to put the base and upperplate on it.
If you tell me what youre biggest problem is, i can help you with that. -

Hey thanks. That’s it. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
I thougt the A-base was just 1 piece. I didn’t know you could screw the spin/static part of. But that was the problem. It’s much better now. -

I just got my x-pert pole today and yes, it was a doozy. Luckily my boyfriend LOVES to build things and is a natural so he did it while I basically watched, held things, read directions and made sure he was doing it right lol

Skittles, what exactly is intimidating you? I’ll try to break it down for you if you want. I know reading the instructions can be a bit intimidating, but once everything is clarified, it’s easy to put together or take apart.
