X-pert problems
Hi all,
So I've had my x-pert for about 3 years now, not a problem until recently, about 2 months ago I was doing a spin counter clockwise and the pole started unscrewing, I checked that the three screws at the bottom were in place and tight, but it was still doing it. I took it all apart and put it back together and somehow it started working again, it worked well until today, I had to take it down two days ago and just got to putting it back up today, well…it's doing the same, tried to undo the cover and realized it is stuck, my husband couldn't even get it to undo, so I looked through the holes, the problem is when I'm rotating it to tighten it the bottom part inside is moving with it, meaning I am not seeing the flat parts through the holes where the screws go because the whole thing is moving. Has anyone experienced this? and do you know how to fix it? it would truly suck if I have to buy another pole but at this point I don't think it's safe to do anything on this x-pert 🙁

Sounds like the screws that are in the lower part of the adjuster are loose. You should be able to see them if you remove the adjuster cover.

I did a video not to long ago on troubleshooting this issue (for a visual.) Under the adjuster cover is 2 screws you need to tighten.

Thanks for the answers! my adjuster cover is stuck at the moment. sigh. So my husband is trying wd-40 to get it loose again so I can tighten those screws.

so I finally got the cover undone, I can see the two holes where the screws are supposed to be, but to my surprise, there are NO screws in there!!! my x-pert does not have those screws in. what in the world! 🙁

You need to call x pole and have them send you some!
