X-pole Chrome finish peels off!
Hey Veeners,
Just wondering if this happens to anyone else?
I have the original 50mm X-pole, and just notice the chrome finish is coming off….I was trying to do a spin as I passed the pole, found something sharp caught my hand and took a closer look, I saw a silver "line" sticking out, as I pulled the line(big mistake!) , the chrome finish came off with it. What do I now? 🙁

You can order a replacement pole piece from x pole. The chrome and titanium plating can wear off with time.

XPole had a rash of issues with chrome on some of the original poles. This does not seem to be an issue any more so it should not happen on your new pieces.
The titanium does not wear off, just the color, and it seems like this problem has been fixed too as I don't see this very often any more either.

Thank you for the info – sensualscimitar and chemgoddess1. I'm looking into the cost of replacement .. for now, the pole is useless because the seam where the peels came off is fairly sharp, my hubby cut his hand while running his hand through the pole. 🙁
Did X pole ever recall their product to replace the crappy finsished pole?

mine did that, I sent a pic of it to xpole and they replaced the part for free
