Xpole Set Up
Hi
I am a long time pole lover, first time pole owner! I have just set up my Xpert 45mm Brass (in my children's play room!) and have a couple of questions…
Can i tighten my pole too tight? It is definitely secure, but I don't want to break my house!
My adjuster cover won't screw back on! Is it an issue if there is a <5mm gap? I am not sure what is happening with it.
The bottom half looks much different from the top half. It is black and slippery, while the top is brass and grippy. Is is normal? What should I clean it with?

I would recommend a call to xpole. I am not sure what you mean by black and There should not be a gap between the pole and the adjuster cover.

After a bit of reading, i think i may have cross threaded the adjuster cover 🙁 the was no gap prior to unscrewing and it was tricky to get off. I haven't been able to get it back on correctly since removing it. I haven't forced it, but it won't screw back in properly and I read that the threading on brass poles are a bit soft…
I think the bottom half of the pole is just dirty, but cant be sure. I just assumes they would look the same. Off to buy some rubbing alcohol/acetone.
