    Hi,

My one of the poles in my x-pole (x-pert) is rotating slightly. I've only used it on spin-mode once and it was fine after we put it back on static mode.

But recently, the pole seems to rotate slightly… so basically, when i do an inversion, the pole rotates and makes a sound. i don't think the pole is going to fall, or that it's necessarily going to suddenly switch to spin mode. Nonetheless, it's a bit disconcerting and distracting when for the pole to turn when i'm learning new tricks.

I've tried tightening all the joints/nuts – whatever they are called – the two sets connecting the two poles in the middle, as well as the two sets right at the bottom of the pole; and i've tried loosening them and retightening them again, but it's still moving.

    could someone please advise?

mine moves too…seems to loosen after a few uses…. I always make sure I line up the screws with the Xs but it still always ends up twisting a bit….is it fixable?

I wonder if we need new hex screws?  hmmm, they are easy enough to buy at the hardware store, I'll email x-pole today and see what they say.  I'll post back when I get some information.

When I got my xpole the first time, I found out one of the hex screws can’t never be tighten. Whenever I do a few moves on static mode, the pole always rotate slightly. Then, I changed both hex screws with new ones, but no luck, still giving me the same problem. I sort of can ‘live’ with this rotating pole, lol but sometimes it’s just kind of annoying. :/ yup, curious to hear what’s the remedy to this problem

Mine tend to do the same thing on static… that's partially why I leave it on spin mode now. The screws just tend to untight themselves after I do a few spins on static mode. Especially when I hold the pole too tight in spins.

Hi, I have an Xpert pole ( the xjoity one), so not sure if this is the same on you have?

A girlfirend taught ,me this. so i hope it works for you too 🙂

There are little grooves that the hex screws need to sit inside to be 100%static. To get the hex screws in there, align the 'x' with the static screw things.

Then as i turn the hex key i slightly move the pole ( I mean very very slightly) side to side, so the hex screw sits 100% in these static & spinning groove… Umm, hope that makes sense 🙂

You did tighten the screws under the adjuster cover to be SUPER tight? and your 3 screws at that you have to tighten when you finishe tightening your pole to the ceiling are not on the threads of the pole (and they are tight?)

FYI, when mine did this, it was due to the screw under the adjuster cover…

I basically tightened all the visible screws which i could see (excluding any that required climbing the pole)… sounds like there are some hidden screws?

will look for them and see if that works.

Yup, they aren't visible when everything is up and running. Unscrew the adjuster cover. They areon one side of the pole, one on top of the other. Once I thightened them, that annoying turing stopped.
