    Hey all!

So, I recently changed my X-pole from static to spin, just to play around on it.

Now, when I try to put it back to static, it starts loosening. I can do maybe one trick or one spin before it starts to become unstable and spin about 1/8-1/4 turn. I keep tightening it, but it’s a pain in the rear, because it’s nearly impossible to practice a whole routine before my pole becomes unstable and starts moving.

I didn’t have this problem until I changed it from static to spin and then back again.

Has this ever happened to any of you? How did you fix it?

    Thanks!

Is it possible that you forgot to line the holes with the X?

@PrincessPeach, unfortunately, yes, I’ve been aligning everything the way it’s supposed to be aligned, and it still won’t stay static 🙁

I was helping a friend put up an xpole over the weekend and there was no way to make it static. There are supposed to be holes to put the allen wrench in to tighten it but there’s nothing inside. After helping her put up her xpole I am glad to have my lilmynx that is all one piece and has a simple locking mechanism.

Hi Performing woman! Please email us at info@xpoleus.com and send us video so we can see the issue very clearly. We can then put you in touch with our technician over the phone for tech support to determine the issue.- definitely check that ALL screws are very firmly tightened in the correct spots:
2x spinning static screws aligned with Xs on base
3x adjuster locking screws aligned with flat portions of the adjuster rod

It could also be the 2 vertical screws under the cover that need to be tightened, or it could be that the spinning static screws are stripped. Make sure you are using some black heavy duty hex keys and also that you are using the short end of the hex key to tighten.

    Thanks!
