Hello! I’ve recently bought a 45mm xstage standard and love it but I do miss using a 50mm I was curious to know if anyone has tried or knows if the xstage base is a standard size that can fit 45 and 50mm poles in or if it’s just specific to the size pole you’ve bought! Hope this makes sense!! Xxx

Can swap them out, you’ll need to get the 50 mm insert too. Then you can change them out.

X-Pole always try to design products to be interchangeable or upgradable where ever possible to create the most flexible product ranges available. Our aim is always to ensure any X-Pole product you buy can be supported and/or upgraded when updates are introduced.

With X-Stages all pole sizes fit the main frame supplied. On the top of the main frame there is a ring on the top centre plate which we call ‘the bearing carrier’. This bearing carrier is the same size for all stages -Standard or Lite Stage – so the bearing unit the pole is attached to will fit all stages.

However, the center of the Bearing unit which holds the pole (it is the cone part with that the pole goes through) has a different hole size depending on the Pole tube size (40/45/50mm). So, a different bearing unit – due to the hole size – is needed for different pole sizes.

These bearing units can be purchased separately and the the whole pole set (poles tubes and bearing unit) so you can install different size poles on the same stage frame.

Please contact your local office for more information on how to purchase a new Stage pole set (normally kept in stock in all sizes) or a bearing carrier.

    Best Regards

Apologies the last line should have said ….. ‘or bearing unit’ (not carrier).
