Yay me!!!!

I did a basic INVERT…. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif lol the proper way too i wanted it so bad yay yay i was screaming and jumping my hubby came in and was like what is there a bug are you ok? lol https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif so after that i was so pumped i finally mastered the corkscrew and did a pole sit with no hands for like ever i felt on top of the world and so powerful oh oh oh and guess what else i finally got…. the wrist seat oh yah! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumright.gif im so happy right now and a little sore but i did it just wanted to share with you wonderful supportive awesome fellow pole buddies!

It’s always spontaneous like that, isn’t it? I can’t seem to get the moves I try, only the ones I say "eff it" and go for balls to the wall!

U know when you do your wrist sit and you cross your leg to go backwards then put your hand under your bum? Try doing that (cross knee release) leaning back as if going for a wrist seat but don’t put your hand under your bum and lean back – that’s how our instructor did it last night. Then you can go on to a cross ankle release which is the same but your legs are crossed at the ankle https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I got an x-knee release and an x-ankle release from a sit on my first day, but now my pole burn is too bad to do the x-ankle hehe. The x-knee works I find if I get my strong hand up top to really hold me there while I work the pole into the crook of my top knee as I lean back, less friction on the thigh more weight on that joint.I was able to get a few more in yesterday just making sure I got the pole as far into that knee as I could to take the pressure off thighs. Then squeeze your butt like all heck! It’ll get that inner thigh nice and secure.
