Shine Alternative Fitness! West side of the strip off the 215 freeway. Dima runs it and he's a former Cirque guy. If you want closer to town and a "polebrity" then hit up Pole Fitness Studio, right across the street from The Palms. This is Fawnia's studio and our true pioneer of pole. Both studios offer a wide variety of classes for the true poler. There are several other studios, but most try to capitalize on the "pole party" business. Make sure you hunt Veena down and get a hug from here. She's a Vegas local now! I'll be there during that time, too. Call or text if you'd like to meet up and enjoy some play time or have a coffee/cocktail. 702-339-0330.

Awesome thanks for your help 🙂 my friend also dances there and has some poles in her house too… But I definitely want the experience of being taught somewhere else

    FYI!

I just helped a former student of mine open up her own studio there!  She's been a personal trainer for years, so she knows the body.

Her name is Karlee and it's Polecats Aerial Fitness

She doesn't have her website up just yet, but has been doing classes next door to her studio while it is being built out.  She is having a grand opening party on June 22nd.  I haven't seen her teach, but hopefully I drilled into her my safety techniques and such!  I'm sure I did! haha

Go visit!  She's a sweetheart!  Tell her Summer sent you!

If you go to Shine Alternative Fitness I would highly recommend taking a flexibility class from David C. Owen. I had a private lesson with him last time he was in Colorado, and he was just amazing at helping me figure out the most effective exercises for working on my back and shoulder flexibility.

David is a great teacher!  Super fun!  Love him!  And as has been mentioned there is Pole Fitness Studio with Fawnia – personally I would check out both.  Fawnia, though I've never met her personally, seems SUPER sweet and nice and she has done a lot for our industry.  I'd have to visit both places for sure.

David Owen at Shine Alternative Fitness is a great dancer, flexibility expert and amazing friend of Veena and myself. I would recommend scheduling time with him if you do nothing else.

I jump on the Shine fitness bandwagon too! The staff there is SO nice and the facility is awesome, and they have a one of a kind rigging system. Highly recommend!
