So I received the following comment on my youtube home page:

well dumb people shouldn’t socialize on the internet, yet there he/she is. lol. see if you can block them from your profile.

Unfortunately we can’t flag people for being mean and idiotic (and on top of all of that liars- you are not fat) – wish we could.

Thanks for the advice and nice comments! You guys are always so supportive! I don’t normally get much traffic on my youtube page so this is kinda new to me. Don’t feel bad though, it happens to EVERYONE at some point if they post to youtube, your not alone. She is obviously very insecure.
Me personally, I would probably say something really nice back just to make the person feel guilty and ashamed for posting such an immature thing on the internet. I think youtubers forget that the peoples videos they are commenting on are actually real people, so sometimes a comment back can give them a lil shock and they realise that they have just said something extremely offensive to someone, something they would never do (you would hope) in real life.
For example I would say ‘thank you for taking the time to write a comment to me about my video, I respect you opinion but personally I find pole dancing to be wonderful excercise for all women regardless of their size and encourage any other women out there not to let other peoples negative comments deter them from doing something they love!’
At least that way you show what a wonderful person you are and she can just have her comment there looking like a douche.
But that is just me, in these situations there is no right or wrong thing to do, just promise not to let it get you down because you are AWESOME and that woman just looks like an idiot for bothering to write something so stupid in the first place.

Like christie said, people who leave mean comments are just really insecure, and usually don’t have any videos of themselves up! I would either just ignore it to show my indifference, or give a brief polite reply to show i’ve taken it as a compliment that they took the time to comment, LOL.
You’re definitely far from being fat, and a great pole dancer! there are always going to be rude/jealous/insecure people who will do/say anything to either get attention or try to feel better about themselves! -
