Hi everyone,
I’m having a little trouble disassembling my X-Pole X-pert! I put up my pole and I think I might have over-extended it. Now, I can’t get the part pictured to go back in (I realized I used the wrong size extension when the treading was exposed). Any tips as to how I can get the two pieces of the pole together? What you’re seeing in the photo is the bottom of the pole (on the left) and the cover.

What diameter is this? My cover drops to the bottom of the pole and then lifts and screws into place. Have you loosened the 3 hex screws that are probably hidden under the cover? That is the only way that I know to lengthen and shorten the threaded section.

Yep, make sure your 3 hex screws ABOVE the cover are undone, then you should be able to screw it all the way back down. (undo the cover and put it down to the left side of the pic, otherwise it might get in the way)

I’ve completely undone the hex screws above the cover and no luck. It’s still stuck!
