    I have a pole sleeve. I have only had it for a little over a month, but I love it. I’m still rebuilding my pole calluses and bruises after having a baby so I find I really need to wear yoga pants right now or it hurts. I am able to grip longer, both with hands and body. And my kids love that they can pole in long pants. My only complaint is that it’s hard to get on (I haven’t even attempted taking it off because I have two 45mm) and that it adds girth, a 45mm is turned into about a 50mm.

    I came across their website last night when I was looking for some kind of sleeves to wear when practicing that could help me grip and protect my skin. I have dry skin and I bruise easily which I totally understand that if there is no pain, then no gain. I just am looking for a little less harshness on my skin when I practice. If it makes the pole bigger, does it effect the way you can do things on the regular pole being smaller? I am just now able to plank and I am working on my inside leg hang right now. It hurts so bad and my body sucks at gripping lol I am just wondering if this would be helpful for me to do things easier and if it helps with strength building. . I think I am a good candidate to powder coat my pole but I’m exploring all options. .I still have do much to learn about poling πŸ™‚ p.s: my kids love spinning on my pole, and I let them go right ahead because it makes it warm and easier to grip for me alot faster! Haha πŸ™‚

    I just started using a 45mm from using a 50 for three years. So I guess my girth issue is just that I want more 45 practice. The pull and bruising without a layer of clothing can be pretty uncomfortable. Have you tried guards that you wear? ie wrists, ankle/tops of feet/

    Yes that’s what I was looking for was things to wear but ran across pole armour. It said the same thing about making the pole thicker so no apologies, you are correct πŸ™‚

    Re the girth increase, it actually makes it LARGER than the next size up. My 45mm pole is larger than a 50mm, with the sleeve on, but the grip is better with the sleeve, so it sorta evens out.
