So there’s really nothing I can do about this…but I figured if anybody will understand why I’m bawling right now it’s you guys. I’ve only been poling since about March but I love it. I drive like 80 miles to class once a week…and 80 back. But the studio I go to is owned by a couple students….and with school starting they have to change the schedule. They only offer class twice a day, on Tuesdays and Thursdaya at 6 pm and 7 pm. I work full, time and go to school full time…and the store i work at closes AT 7. So favyorng in the drive i will never make it. The next closest studio is 4.5 hrs away and have similar schedules. This is gonna affect my progress when I was just getting the hang of climbing and starting basic inverting. I’m depressed. The schedule is effective next week, so, essentially the trip I’ll make in a few days will be my last trip for at least a year, when they dismiss for summer again. *sigh*

I know exactly how you feel.. in New Orleans! What part of Lousiana are you in? I dont go to any of the studios around here. When I do go to a studio its the one in Baton Rouge at Teaze.. Shes the bomb and its 70 miles one way.. The best outlet for me is Studioveena of course

I’m in Lake Charles, so everything is a good distance if it’s not a casino or a refinery lol. I heard someone just opened a studio in Lafayette but it’s a further drive, it costs more and they don’t have their schedule posted.

I had seen the one that opened in Lafayette.. It’s like 3 hours for me to drive there.. Well if you ever want to skype jam, I’m down. Do you go to studios in Houston? I’ve wanted to make trips out there to try them out, if you can meet out there sometime? We could always have a pole weekend at my house in Nola too. I have an extra bedroom at my house and two poles!

Lol NOLA is like 4 hrs away from me (we’re 70 miles NW of Lafayette lol) but I usually go down there a few times a month because I have “relatives” (I grew up in foster care but my best friends family kinda took me in and they all, live there…mainly his mom and sister) there so next time I’m in the city I can definitely look you up! I hate the Atchafalaya bridge though lol. And I want to go pole in Houston but I just haven’t yet lol. I didn’t know the studios there were that bad.
