So what is the key to not sliding down the pole every time you do a Jade? I just can NOT find that balance……UGH!!!!

Pull the leg across the body. And I mean ACROSS. Hurts like a mother, especially if you do not have the flexibility.

Ok…I will try it some more. Do you grab your leg OVER the ankle or UNDER.

Wait, didn’t you just start poling again?! Don’t get too frustrated yet. xoxo Keep working on hip holds of all kinds and working on flexibility. Jade is not something that most people can just do. You can grab over or under what ever works. I like to do a half jade first and by that I mean fully extending the free leg FIRST while keeping the opposite leg tucked until you are not able to extend any more, this will help stop the teeter totter effect. So work on the half jade for a bit. https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/4fbcefc8-f118-469b-a3f6-42890ac37250

Thanks Veena! Yes, just back to pole. I need to remember I have been off for a full year, you are correct. I will review your lesson. 😉
