Butterfly to flatline Scorpio, fan kick to pole sit to cross ankle release….from there either handstand dismount OR brass monkey to elbow grip ayesha to elbow grip iron x or cartwheel down
Broken doll to jallegra to Allegra to inside leg hang
Gemini climb to Cupid to box splits to jasmine to holly drop

If anyone has more combos pleaaaaase share even if they are not your favorites! I’ve been so on the hunt for them
-
My go to is figurehead -> invert > gemini > (sometimes leg switch) > inverted pike > bomb
-
I’m only beginning to combo moves together so I’m working on the basic ones you see everyone doing. I try to write down the combos I do and new ones I’d like to do on notecards. Only thing is, they’re constantly changing when I learn new things and when what I envision doesn’t really work out irl. I guess that’s what combos are, always wip’s. Pencil is my friend.
Right now my fave combo is one is saw on ig from biapoledance with an aerial invert -> gemini -> genie-> side superman and the cupid -> sg Ayesha but then I guess that’s more of a transition, idk. I tend to be wowed by transitions the most.

That’s totally a combo! Bia tends to have really good ones. I have issues writing down the ones I see so I would take videos of my computer using my phones then play run back while I oractice to try and work through it/figure it our. but that’s not so possible with the IG ones and there are so many good ones on there. I wish there was a way to bookmark an IG post or something. Is there?

God. Sleep deprived, those are intended to be real words and sentences I swear
-
Although it can be hard to find combos I can do, so many of then are so advanced
-
On ig there are three dots and you press those and copy share URL and pop that into your browser and bam! It’s your clip as long as you keep it.
Agree about advanced combos. It’s time consuming searching for unique intermediate and beginner ones, but those are the ones I care about for now. Well let’s be honest, I enjoy the search. 🙂

This is my go- to freestyle choreo
1. Climb pole in fancy way pausing to do leg things, elbow grip arm things.
2. Invert at top of pole into gemini. Spin round for aaaaages.
Leg switches down a bit then
A. Superman to Scorpio or gemini
Or
B. Flower spin to pike to jade back to pike.3. Flip into Goldrush/inverted thigh hold if room or handstand out. Or mermaid off and roll about a bit on floor
4. Kneel up and spin up the pole (tuck or Jamilla)
Stand behind pole throw shape (flatline descent and log roll/ arabesque to back bend, high kick or fan kick etc)
5. Fan kick(s) to pole sit, scissor climb higher.
Swan to drama queen to CAR.
6. Brass monkey off or cartwheel or sit back up and either spin down with passé legs
or go to figurehead – hangman – hood ornament
7. Or climb up and finish with Brass Monkey Tumble (exciting drama ending) or if pole slippery, back into gemini and goldrush or gemini – butterfly – Jamilla – tuck (emo ending)
8. If any music left, drop into splits then curl up in a ball (emo) or crawl about sexily then get back on pole for some kind of dramatic invert finale: just a basic plank or inverted crucifix is good.Fits most 3-4 minute songs lol.

😔😕 I’ve ruined the mystique now: every vid I post people will be going ‘oh there goes Tropical climbing pole in fancy way, invert into gemini, spin for aaaages, yawn, snore…’

Go on YouTube and search ‘pso level 1 pole’ (or level 2). You will find lots of beginner intermediate competition routines where u can pick combos
-
There are at least 30 combos that don’t require any inverts in the lessons here. 🙂 https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view_category/routines-pole-lessons

hehehe tropicalpole, there was a moment in time when i saw dirdy birds secrets and the set of like 6 combos she did in almost every dance and i still loved them all! so fear not about revealing secrets 🙂 i think we all have patterns/go tos like that. its one of the reasons i like going to a studio when i can, it pulls you out of your normal movements and into doing someone elses
