Will be keeping her in my thoughts and prayers. I hope all the testing goes well and she is back to her routine soon. It is probably best for her to not go to school with the equipment attached, they should be able to accommodate one week considering the circumstances.
Please try and take care of yourself during this difficult time.

hi stevesgirl, so sorry your grandaughter has to go through all this! i agree with jehanne, that it's probably better to just let her miss the first week of school and be able to rest as much as possible. will be thinking of you….. xoxo

Stevesgirl, I applaud you because had I been in your situation, I probably would've panicked and freaked out because I couldn't figure out what to do. I will DEFINITELY be sending prayers up and good vibes your way. May God bless you and your family and hopefully this too shall pass. Best wishes, dear!!!

I know how you feel my 11 yr old granddaughter was diagnosed with sever migraines and epilepsy. It was scary…she will just be walking and she falls to the ground. SCARY every single time too. Never get used to that stuff with kids. Thanks to meds she is much better and has even made fly girl on her cheerleading team. Bless your heart i hope she recovers quickly, I know we wish we could just jump in their body and let it be use instead of them. The good thing is that fever really can cause that kind of seizure which hopefully she won't experience again. Stay strong and yes I relate to getting puked on as well…not McKenna but my min-doxie who has seizures. She knows when one is coming and she heads for the door because she doesn't want to get sick in the house. Poor thing and then all I can do is talk her through like my granddahter. Sending prayers for the wee one and you and grandpa too. keep us up to date.

Well they started the EEG today. Depending on what the findings are, she will have the EEG going until sometime between next Monday and next Friday. She is not a happy camper lugging this thing around. I've decided she will not go to school with this thing on. I don't know how she can really get around anyway, but I don't want the kids making fun of her.
