any pole dancing expos in ontario…
Was wondering if theee aew any pole expos or pole events that go on in ontario or even canada for that fact….cant find any canadian oole dancers or events 🙁

There have been a couple showcases in downtown Toronto in recent years. One in October 2011 and again in the spring of 2012. Miss pole dance Canada has been held in BC for the last few years. And there used to be a “pole camp” held every September in Alberta. 🙂

And while doing some midnight internet surfing I just found out that there was a canadian pole expo a couple weeks ago in mississauga.

The Canadian Pole Expo was the first weekend in October, a couple of weeks ago. A lot of fun and great performances during the competition shows – you can see a bunch of them here. Look for the Canadian Pole Fitness Association on Facebook so you can find out about anything else next year – their web site also has some events listed.

And there's a Vertical Love showcase and competition next year. April 4-5, 2014 for performances, June 13-14 for competition. I think they just did a call for submissions starting Nov 1. I'd love to attend as a spectator, but if there's no easy way to get there by public transit (I have a disability that prevents me from driving) and the last time they had a showcase there were no carpool or bus arrangements from Toronto (grumble grumble).

Hi Piglet here; I run the Toronto Pole Dance Fitness Showcase in downtown Toronto. I took last year off, competed in the Provincials and Nationals (Pole Expo weekend) and now I’m back to do another showcase in 2014! Submissions are January 10th-12th…application and 2min video.

The website isn’t up and running yet…our webbie is still working on it. The facebook page is up and has been since 2011.
