I started from scratch about 3 months ago, I couldn’t even do a push-up, and my legs were so inflexible it hurt me to even step over something. I also had a shoulder injury that kept me up at night sometimes it was so bad. Pole has changed my body so much in such a short amount of time. I’m never sore anymore (unless it’s from learning a new move), and my strength has increased a crazy amount. I feel like super woman at work carrying boxes around that the boys have trouble lifting ^_^

I still have trouble doing a good push up! lol! I danced and did gymnastics as a kid but nowhere near the level of ‘preparing’ me for what I do now! I had two babies, went through a divorce that took a toll on my body (I lost so much weight and had no muscle strength or flexibility) and went to a pole class and couldn’t do anything! Just a little pull up on the pole was so crazy and strange to me! But I loved it anyway. It’s been a year and a half and I can do things now that I never ever would have thought possible. I always want more and feel frustrated at what I can’t do so it’s nice to see a thread like this and realize how far I’ve actually come.

Started from scratch 6 months ago. Forearm stand was a no go. Pull ups were zero. More i have muscle I’ve never seen before. My arms and legs are amazing to me. My core is stronger too. However, my flexibility is still non existent. I’m working on it but it’s slow going. You’ll be amazed How quickly your body will change.
