i was just curious as to if anyone has gone or goes to see a chiropractor on the regular and if so what are your thoughts. Not for pole either just in general. I have never gone, but always wondered if its good for you and does it really help.

    I’ve heard it’s bad but I don’t know. I prefer sports massage.

It’s not bad..if you go to a good one. I go and it helps me tremendously. I go less frequently now than I have in the past, partly because I am doing a lot of self care (massage and stretching/ strengthening) which helps keep me balanced.

Just like with doctors and massage therapists, there are good and bad chiropractors. I have grown up with chiropractics and currently just started going to one again due to the car accident I was just in. There are things that a massage therapist cannot fix and I refuse to be put on muscle relaxers and pain killers when I know that with the proper spinal alignment I can be fixed. I will also note that there are a TON of pole professionals who regularly go to the chiro. With the big push in alternative medicines, chiropractics has grown exponentially. Most medical coverage will also pay for visits.

I am a huge supporter of chiropractors. I do not go on regular basis. But when I have injury or pain, usually one visit will fix it without the use of drugs!

I have gone to a chiropractor as needed for more than 20 years. It has been hugely helpful to me. I only go when I tweak something or other. In fact, I’m thinking about going tomorrow for a “tune-up” as I call it. I have a muscle in my neck and upper back that gets tight and painful when I need an adjustment. If you’re thinking of going, ask for recommendations from people you know.
