For me I love my titanium. I have both.. the titanium is much more grippy however it can tear at your skin. I don’t mind the chrome but it’s more temperamental. Just my experience but everyone’s different I just like very sticky grip. I had a brass but for me the only time I got good grip was on humid days which are few and far between here. For Some reason brass and me don’t mix. Best thing is to try them both if you know someone who has chrome and titanium .:/)

I love my Titanium gold also. I agree with Paunobs, sometimes it can get too grippy especially in summer, but I would rather that than sliding all the time. I have very sweaty hands and I find myself having to stop several times on chrome to wipe my sweat off and reapply my dry hands. Just a personal preference.

Do keep in mind that chrome is the standard in competitions, so if you are looking to compete down the road that’s probably what you should go for. For me, I do not see competition in my future and I just wanted the best pole for me to enjoy my poling at home.

For me, I prefer titanium over chrome. Hell, I prefer stainless over chrome. Veena said that she thinks there might be a little more slide to the more recent chromes that in the past. All I know is my chrome XSL, is wayyyy slidier than my stainless. So much so that i wanna PC the darn thing. TG has the same slide as stainless and chrome, but when it warms up you can stick to it fairly well. I like that because you can easily transition from spins to tricks, unlike brass, where I get stuck mid spin.

Depending on the competition, it can be either chrome or stainless. It just depends on whether x pole or PS is the sponsor.

While my sv pole finish is my favorite second would be tg. I just received the new brass xpole and will be trying that once I’m back home.

Don’t worry about completions and finish because if you compete or just perform you’ll
Want to use grip aid. The right brand of grip can make any pole workable. So get something you’ll enjoy using at home! 💜

Veena, I’m curious about the X-pole brass. Let us know what you think of it.

I have TG at home and use Chrome at the studio. I like TG better. I stick to it better. I am able to get tricks and poses faster at home than in the studio because I feel more secure. I live in the south and have not had a problem with it being too sticky.

The poles in the studio I go to are chrome and if it’s warm in there it’s like a slip and slide. I got the TG xpole for home and have only had it up a few days but I love it. It has more grip than the chrome but I don’t feel like it has so much grip that it would be to sticky. It is really dry where I live so that also may factor in.
