So I was using windex to clean my pole up until a couple days ago when I started using rubbing alcohol because someone on here said windex has other stuff in it that could make the pole slippery.  But the pole has actually seemed more slippery since I switched to alcohol…???

I can't tell if it also has to do with my grip aid or not – I've been using Prince tennis grip and last week my bottle ran out so I went out to get another one (same stuff), and though there's no indication that the formula has changed, it seems to coat my skin more thinly than before.  Has anybody else ever noticed a difference in their grip from one container to the next?

That happened to me when I made the switch from Windex to alcohol so I just went back to windex for my chrome x pole….I do however only use alcohol on my Titanium pole. Windex wont ruin the finish so if its working for you then I say go with it.  If you really want to use alcohol then try cleaning your pole with Dawn dishwashing soap to strip away any oils.

Just want to let you know we have a cleaning cloth that only need water for cleaning the poles. Works on 99% of the poles and grip aids out there. Large enough to be cut in half and have two useable pieces.

Machine washable but do not use a fabric softner when drying.

Hey Ladies I coldn't resist putting my two cents in on this one. Please be careful using chemicals to clean your pole. I attended a work related workshop on chemicals and poisons and was amazed how many of these things are in our household cleaning products. Vinegar is a natural cleaning agent and I've started using this to clean my pole instead of Windex. It's a great general household cleaner too. It's actually not too bad either at making the pole less slippery. It may smell a lil funky but it's better for your health.https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
