"X studio" is proud to invite you to the very first edition of the "National Capital Pole Dancing Competition" We are promoting pole fitness as both a sport and an art form by launching this event bringing people together in the Nation's Capital.
RULES: The competition is strictly limited to" Studio X" students, requiring participants to have enrolled in at least one six-week session at "Studio x"

there is 5 studios in the area, I understand the "competition from studio to studio" thing, but to announce it big like that and only allow your students, not cool

I was excited too when I saw that a competition was finally being run in "my" area…and disappointed that I wouldn't be eligible to compete since I am not a student (past or present) of said studio.
I have hopes that another competition will come up in the area for polers from anywhere in our nation's capital.

I believe the poor choice in name isn't from calling it a competition, but calling it a National Capital Pole competition, when it isn't open to everyone in the capital, only the studio's students. However, this isn't up to us to decide or debate.
