My first ever pole arrived today. Its all set up & ready to go. My question is this – is it normal to feel not 100% confident in putting my whole weight on it? Even though its an x-pole & ive installed it correctly, part of my mind is like 'what if it falls down'…

I think it is normal, but if you grab it with both hands and give it a good shake and pull on it as hard as you can before you use it and it doesn't fall down you should be fine.  Congrats on the new pole btw, is it one of the X-pole brass valentine ones?

Well, if it's been instaled correctly the is no problem… My x-pole supports perfectly my 81'5kg…

You'll be fine, just give it a good tug with both hands before you use it every time to make sure nothing has slipped to be sure.  Happy poling!!  I just got a new brass X-Pole(got lucky and won one, yay!!) and am waiting for renovations to be finished so I can put it up and get back in the swing of things.  A class once a week just isn't the same as regular practice at home!!
