Hi there….
I have a yogadirect mat. which I ordered from Amazon ….at the time it was Amazon Prime free shipping and I had a coupon too.I chose the pink because if I use it outside on my stage pole black gets HOT! and I chose 4inches because I had exactly 8in clearance under the bed in the spare bedroom. HOWEVER Its slightly more than 4inches so it didn’t fit. when doubled… But I since got rid of that bed so it’s a non-issue.
I like it a lot though. I’m not sad I didn’t get the 5inch one. I’ve flopped onto it a bunch from pretty high and been just fine. 🙂

I have a crashmat from Lupit pole and I love it!
I have the thickest mat, Its 12 cm. Thats the only one I trust if I fell on my head;) This is an European brand, I don’t know if they have dealers around the world, or if they ship to USA, but check it out!

I finally just ordered a mat…since they are so pricey I waited to use birthday money! I ordered mine from http://www.yogadirect.com and got the pink 5 inch. Love it! Nice and thick so it breaks my fall nicely. Helps with the fear factor of doing new inverts for sure. Its totally worth the money to get some type of mat.

Hi, I started a crash mat thread a week or so ago and am still confused. How do you order yogadirect.com mats on Amazon? I also went directly to the yogadirect website and see no mats that would work as crash mats, just thin ones. I am in need of something that will protect me from a fall. I am in the United States so need something that can be shipped to the US. I do not want to spend a fortune but want something safe. I am doing a lot of inverted moves and do not want to take chances. Appreciate everyone’s input.

Catsanctuary177663 You can also go to their website and in the search field type in crash mat. Or Try this link for yoga direct. http://www.yogadirect.com/Pole-Crash-Mats_p_33.html. I looked at buying it from both Amazon and from the website directly. It ends up being the same price on either site from what I could tell. Hope that helps 🙂
