Glycerin based lotions like aveeno and some of the vaseline lotions, aloe and corn huskers all will help. You want to stay away from the lotions that use oils and butters as their top ingredients.

Long ago and far away in a different thread, Veena suggested moisturizing the night before pole rather than the day of…My dry skin problem is legs, not hands, but this has been my religion since then…along with avoiding the really oily lotions like chemgoddess said. Gives my skin that perfect degree of “tacky” (once I’m warmed up) without being greasy.

I second what PoleB3auty says. Using plenty of lotion the night before tends to help me. My hands are constantly dry (even in the summer!), so I have to rely on using lotion the previous night, as well as once I’m done poling for the day. If your hands are particularly dry, I’d suggest using a lotion with lanolin in it. It’s a type of wax, so it will help trap in moisture. “Udder Balm” does wonders for me, but there are a number of other brands that use lanolin.

I also have really dry skin, especially in the winter. I would buy , which is made for dry skin, but the shipping to canada is like $50. A good alternative that works great for me is to buy 100% vegetable glycerin and mix a bit of it with a bit of water and put it in a spray bottle. Cheaper and more accessible than and works wonders once you let it dry thoroughly.

Although is shipping prices are not an issue for you, I would just get . Sometimes lotion wears off in the by the time morning comes round.

I bought about 30 bottles of Dewpoint and had it shipped to the UK for about $90.
    I LOVE DEWPOINT SO MUCH

If anyone in the UK wants any, please get in touch, I have loads! Same price as X-Pole, but I HAVE STOCK.
