    i've been poling for a while now, and bit embarrassed to say i 've not ever really tried to learn the elbow grip anything !! but now i've got a bit of a pole crush on learning the devils elbow and omg it hurts!! i cant remember pole burn like this on any other move ,,, i'm self taught so i just wanna ask if anyone has anytips on it and also do people who do , do it do they do it on the same arm as they do the aysha or is it best to learn it on both arms,,https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif??  cheers for any helphttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif xox

    Not sure on that move but I think learning on both sides is best to prevent being unbalanced. I am not that good with elbow grip at all, it feels unsecure. It is getting better though the more I try. I think if u keep trying that the pole burn and stuff will go away or get better just like the other moves 🙂 Good luck!

    It hurts but like with everything, practice helps dull the pain. I also hold it quite high, my bent arm at an angle pointing towards the floor (though I don't do that in the vid, it was something someone pointed out to me after!) and that helps ensure a lot of my grip is on the fleshy part of my top arm so the grip is not just 'in' the elbow if that makes sense? I tend to use the same arm as I do with the ayesha but working on my bad side 🙂
